GSF-1100-01 – Number of NCTFs and EWROs with improved ecoequity index score

The Ecoequity index is a qualitative index which measures the successful implementation of different actions aimed to improved performance of NCTFs and EWROs capacity to protect biodiversity and promote NbS in strategic activities, e.g. integration of gender-inclusive language or strategies into organizational plans or activities (per recommendations from the gender assessment), review of NCTF and EWRO strategic plans to include a climate lens and NbS priorities, training of staff etc. The index incorporates multiple output indicators listed in the outputs section of the PMF as a cumulative score and also considers a measure of how well the operational capacity building activities translate to supporting people benefits and scalable climate resilience outcomes. Teams can rate their project’s performance in each dimension using scores from a range of 1 – 5. A score of 1 denotes little to no progress in terms of improvements in NCTF and EWRO operational capacity to support and promote gender-responsive climate change resilience in marginalized communities, while a score of 5 denotes significant improvements in the capacity of organizations to support promoting gender-responsive climate change resilience work in marginalized communities.
