The Caribbean Biodiversity Fund
Investing in the Caribbean’s future
The Caribbean Biodiversity Fund (CBF), established in 2012, is a regional umbrella environmental fund dedicated to providing sustainable financing for projects that protect the lands and waters of the Caribbean.
As a central component of the Caribbean Sustainable Finance Architecture (CSFA), the CBF works in partnership with National Conservation Trust Funds (NCTFs) to mobilize financial resources and implement innovative conservation solutions across the region.
Its flexible structure allows it to manage a diverse portfolio, currently valued at approximately $180 million, to support environmental agendas and strengthen institutional policies within its partner network.
